Complete Process to email Settings

In this blog, we will tell you how you can set up your Att mail account (both outlook and thunderbird) and the required settings. By setting the Att net IMAP settings you will be able to access your mail account on any device you want. 

Look at the instructions given by us to complete your att mail server settings on your phone. 

Settings for Att Email using IMAP and SMTP

  1. Open the email application on your mobile phone.

  2. Then look for the account settings in the menu and choose the ‘Add Account’ option. 

  3. And now click ‘Others’ from the different email services provided to you.

  4. Type your email address and then the password in the respective fields.

  5. Now you need to select the ‘Manual Setup’ option and then type the settings as given below:

  • IMAP server:

  • Security type: None

  • Imap port: 993

  • Security type: SSL/TLS

  • Insecure: Port - 143 and security type - None

Now you need to enter the Outgoing (SMTP) settings to complete the ATT mail server settings.

  • Outgoing (SMTP) secure: Port - 465

  • Security type: SSL/TLS

  • Outgoing (SMTP roaming server) Secure: Port – 587 and Security type – SSL/TLS

  • Outgoing (SMTP roaming server) insecure: Port – 587 and Security type - None

  1. Now you need to tap on the “next” button. 

To finalize the entire process of setting up att net email settings you need to click on ‘Done’. After this, you can use your ATT net email account without any issue.
