Settings for Att Email using IMAP and SMTP

Open the email application on your mobile phone.

Then look for the account settings in the menu and choose the ‘Add Account’ option.

And now click ‘Others’ from the different email services provided to you.

Type your email address and then the password in the respective fields.

Now you need to select the ‘Manual Setup’ option and then type the settings as given below:

IMAP server: imap.mail.att.net

Security type: None

Imap port: 993

Security type: SSL/TLS

Insecure: Port - 143 and security type - None
Now you need to enter the Outgoing (SMTP) settings to complete the ATT mail server settings.

Outgoing (SMTP) secure: Port - 465

Security type: SSL/TLS

Outgoing (SMTP roaming server) Secure: Port – 587 and Security type – SSL/TLS

Outgoing (SMTP roaming server) insecure: Port – 587 and Security type - None

Now you need to tap on the “next” button.
To finalize the entire process of setting up att net email settings you need to click on ‘Done’. After this, you can use your ATT net email account without any issue.
